ROOTED IN A SHARED PURPOSE

Stronger together, since 1981.

Zimcare Trust was established in October 1981 through the consolidation of organisations supporting people with intellectual disabilities in Zimbabwe. Their shared commitment created a coordinated approach to specialised education and care.

Our four founding organisations
  • Hopelands Trust
  • Salisbury Association for the Care of the African Mentally Handicapped (SASCAM)
  • Midlands Association for the Mentally Sub-normal African Children (MAMSAC)
  • Sibantubanye Day Care
